Musselman's products are processed to be shelf stable for your family's safety.

Heat treatment destroys spoilage microorganisms, so that our products in cans, jars, plastic bottles and plastic cups do not require refrigeration until opened. (Do refrigerate after opening and then use within 10 days.)

The "best-by" date is the date recommended for best flavor, color and quality of a product, it is not safety date.

Processed foods that are shelf stable can be safely consumed for two years or longer. (Do not consume products from severely dented, leaking, or swollen cans, jars or bottles.)
