- 2 prepared pie crusts
- 2 21-ounce cans MUSSELMAN’S® Apple Pie Filling
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon allspice
- 12 Kraft® caramel squares
- 1 teaspoon milk
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- FOR TOP OF CRUST
- 1 Egg, beaten
- 2 Tablespoons milk or water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
Preheat oven to 425°F. Place one pie crust in a baking dish.
Combine nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice with MUSSELMAN’S® Apple Pie Filling. Pour apple mixture into crust.
Melt caramels and milk in microwave-safe bowl for about a minute, stirring twice. Pour melted caramels over the Apple Pie Filling.
Place pecans on top and cover with the second crust. Vent crust for baking.
For top of crust: Beat egg and 2 Tablespoons of water or milk together. Brush on top of pie crust and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of sugar. Bake for 45 minutes.
