Apple Chutney

A chutney is a spicy condiment made of fruit, vinegar, and spices originating in India. Make it easy with Musselman’s Sliced Apples.

  • 1 20-ounce package MUSSELMAN’S® Sliced Apples
  • ½ cup raisins
  • 4 Tablespoons MUSSELMAN’S® Apple Cider Vinegar
  • teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 dash ground cloves
  • 2 Tablespoons honey
  • 6 Tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon curry powder


  1. Step 1
    Place drained apples in a food processor. Cover and pulse a few seconds or just until coarsely chopped. (Do not over-process.)

  2. Step 2
    Transfer to a medium saucepan and add the rest of the ingredients. Heat through, stirring occasionally until thick.

  3. Step 3
    Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Serve warm with ham or pork, or chilled on crackers as an appetizer.
