Put a spin on a traditional apple pie by using tortillas. This recipe is made easy with Musselman’s Apple Pie Filling.
Warm tortillas in microwave for 30 seconds to make them easier to handle.
Place 1/4 cup pie filling on each tortilla.
In a small bowl, stir together nuts, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Sprinkle over filling.
Roll up tortillas. Place on an ungreased baking sheet and make small slashes to allow steam to escape.
Brush with milk and sprinkle with additional sugar, if desired.
Bake at 350 °F for 8 to 12 minutes or until lightly brown. Allow to cool slightly. Serve warm or cold.
Substitute MUSSELMAN’S® Blueberry Pie Filling. Replace cinnamon with nutmeg and 1/2 teaspoon of lemon zest. Or try MUSSELMAN’S® Cherry Pie Filling replacing the walnuts with slivered almonds and the spices with 1 teaspoon almond extract.
