Allergy-Friendly Apple Sauce Waffles

Not only are they allergy-friendly, but these waffles are so fluffy on the inside that they might disappear faster than you can make another batch.

Ingredients

  • 1 & 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1 & 1/2 cups oat milk
  • 4 Tbsp. plant-based butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup Musselman’s Apple Sauce
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

  1. Step 1
    Preheat oven to 200ºF

  2. Step 2
    In a medium bowl, mix the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Step 3
    Add in the milk, Musselman’s Apple Sauce, butter, and vanilla.

  4. Step 4
    Mix to combine until mostly smooth.

  5. Step 5
    Pour ½ cup batter onto hot waffle iron and cook until the desired doneness.

  6. Step 6
    Remove from the waffle iron and keep warm in preheated oven.

  7. Step 7
    Serve with syrup, bacon, and your favorite brunch bevvy!
