Ingredients

Directions

  1. Step 1
Preheat oven to 350° F.  Grease a rimmed jelly roll pan.

  2. Step 2
In a large mixing bowl on medium speed, cream together butter and sugars for two minutes.  Add eggs, one at a time. Mix in the vanilla.

  3. Step 3
In a separate mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.  Add to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.

  4. Step 4
Mix in by hand the oats and then the white chocolate chips.

  5. Step 5
Press about two-thirds of the batter into a thin layer in the jelly roll pan. Set aside.

  6. Step 6
In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the cherry pie filling and apple butter.  Spread evenly over the layer of oat batter in the pan.  Scoop the remaining oat batter evenly over the pie filling.

  7. Step 7
Bake for 30-35 minutes, until golden.  Let cool completely before cutting into bars, or serve warm and gooey with ice cream.
