Whether for the holidays or just a random Tuesday, everyone loves cookies like Grandma made, with Musselman’s Apple Butter.
Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease cookie sheets.
In a medium bowl combine the flour, salt, baking soda, cloves, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Set aside.
In a large bowl cream together with a mixer the butter and sugar. Add in the egg and dates.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet, alternatingly in the apple butter until combined.
Drop by a teaspoon or cookie scoop, 2 inches apart, on the cookie sheet. Bake for 12 minutes or until the edges are brown.
