Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter 8x8-inch baking dish.
Combine corn syrup and hot water. Set aside.
Place apple pie filling inside the dish. Add corn syrup and water mixture.
In a medium bowl, mix butter, flour, salt, brown sugar and oatmeal to a crumbly consistency. Sprinkle over top.
Bake for 40 minutes. Serve warm.
