Whether for the holidays or just a random Tuesday, everyone loves cookies like Grandma made, with Musselman’s Apple Butter.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease cookie sheet.
In a large bowl cream together the butter, 1/2 cup sugar and the brown sugar. Mix in the egg, flour, and baking soda. Add the cereal and stir by hand until well combined. Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes so it is easier to roll.
In a small bowl mix 3 Tablespoons sugar and cinnamon together.
Roll 1 Tablespoon of dough into a tight ball and then roll in the cinnamon sugar. Place on cookie sheet.
Press thumb into center of cookie to make a shallow well. Spoon 1/2 teaspoon of apple butter into the center of each cookie. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
