Ingredients

  • 1 16-ounce package bacon
  • 1 14-ounce packages mini smoked sausages
  • 1 cup MUSSELMAN’S® Apple Butter

Directions

  1. Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F. Place parchment paper on a jelly roll pan or another baking pan with an edge.

  2. Step 2
Cut the bacon strips into thirds. Wrap each strip of bacon around a smokie, piercing with a toothpick to hold the bacon in place. Place the smokies on the pan.

  3. Step 3
Baste each smokie with a generous amount of apple butter.

  4. Step 4
Bake for 20 minutes. Remove and flip each smokie. Baste again with apple butter.

  5. Step 5
Reduce heat to 275° and bake another 20 minutes until bacon is cooked to desired doneness. Watch carefully in the final minutes so that the apple butter doesn't burn.

  6. Step 6
Transfer smokies to a small slow cooker on low to keep warm for serving.
